We are seeking a Mid-Level Technology Support Specialist to join our Managed Services team supporting the day-to-day IT operations of our clients and internal team. If selected you will be collaborating with a small team of service delivery specialists to support software, hardware, and networks commonly found in small businesses. Ultimately your objective will be to provide technical, product, and business knowledge to strengthen our client relationships by troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues, creating and managing automated support processes, and providing excellent customer service. You need to be a tech-savvy professional who can effectively communicate with a non-technical audience. Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person for common and escalated technical issues
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and servers
  • Creating and maintaining technical and knowledge base documentation
  • Create and maintain scripts and automation processes to improve support efficiency
  • Communicating effectively with clients to identify and resolve technical issues

What we will expect from you:

  • 2+ years of experience in technical support or a related field
  • Strong experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Experience with remote access tools (e.g. TeamViewer, Remote Desktop)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in software support and with professional services automation (PSA) systems is a plus
  • Experience with computer networking – IP addresses, ping, wireless access points, routers, and switches would be preferred
