Senior User Experience Analyst

As a Senior User Experience Analyst, you will partner with Strategic, Solutions, Development, and Data platform colleagues to create innovative and intuitive digital products that deliver our clients’ best-in-class user experience and usability, internally and externally. We undertake a wide spectrum of activities, from discovery and research, through definition, ideation, and design, to managing design systems and delivering interactive prototypes and high-fidelity designs to our development partners.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Leads meetings with users, clients, product sponsors and technology to understand project requirements.
  • Plans and performs UX research, define Intelligent Automation(IA), user journeys, and create personas.
  • Identifies metrics and data that can support decision-making, guiding tech partners where needed to add necessary metrics.
  • Works closely with all stakeholders and development teams to brainstorm and co-create ideas, approaches and solutions.
  • Performs relevant testing to validate and inform design decisions.
  • Creates wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using specialist tools such as Sketch, Figma, Miro, and the Adobe suite.
  • Uses, contributes and evolves to the approved design system.
  • Performs detailed handover to change management and development teams, ensuring they have all they need to implement the designs.
  • Provides ongoing support to development, with regular UX review checkpoints ensuring quality and spec are as designed.
  • Stays up to date with the latest UX practices, innovations, and tools.
  • Ensures all designs comply with ADA/WCAG standards for accessibility.
  • Delivers on time, identifying and managing risks to ensure timelines are met, and escalating where needed.
  • Helps to train, support and develop junior team members.
  • Confidently challenges substandard work by other team members and provides coaching and guidance to resolve.
  • Identifies and articulates design and technical conflicts between colleagues and/or local stakeholders and provides issue resolution.
  • Leads and provides direction on the planning, design, and execution of department processes, procedures, and training to support business processes and automate work streams as appropriate.
  • Analyzes current and future system processes and/or procedures.
  • Provides input/interpretation to business designs and requirements to determine optimal solutions.
  • Benefits the organization through outside activities, and participates in disaster recovery planning and preparation coordination.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Finance, Management or related discipline OR equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant job experience
  • Candidate cannot be a resident of CA, CO, HI, AK, PR, NJ

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or certification related to the field
  • At least 8 years of relevant industry/role experience in UX and/or 3+ years of relevant job experience in banking
  • Experience with bank systems, project management, vendor partnerships, and resolution of complex system issues
  • Sketch, Figma, InVision, Miro, and the Adobe suite of related tools.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience supporting processes and systems related to marketing, data and web analytics, online account opening, online banking, deposit and treasury functions, loan origination/loan servicing (including SBA), core system support, payments, cards, compliance (KYC, KYB, AML, BSA), and other bank functions as determined.
  • Ability to make sound and timely decisions, to consistently deliver on commitments, and assume responsibility for results
  • Ability to think creatively and meet challenges with resourcefulness
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and effectively manage multiple tasks and/or projects
  • Takes initiative to research and resolve problems prior to asking for assistance from Manager
  • Well-developed and proven organizational skills with the ability to utilize time efficiently
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including strong Excel skills, as well as Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instruction and speak clearly to associates

  • Ability to train and coach associates, as appropriate
