We’re seeking a Senior Support Specialist to be the backbone of our IT operations. With your expertise, you’ll maintain our network, support end users, and spearhead system improvements. Role & Responsibilities:
- Maintains close relations with end users to ensure daily business processes are continuously and adequately being supported and developed by IT.
- Supports, maintains, develops and troubleshoots the network computer and telecommunication systems, related peripheral devices and local area networks.
- Designs, configures, tests and implements network computer systems and operating system architectures.
- Analyzes and solves complex problems of network (operating) system hardware and software components.
- Creates and maintains detailed documentation and procedures governing the network computer systems and peripherals in all aspects of its utilization; ensures associates work in compliance with the documented procedures and guidelines.
- Designs, tests and implements new computer systems, operating systems and applications.
- Performs continuous research and audits to ensure continuous and high levels of performance, security and availability of network and operating systems and peripheral devices.
- Ensures regular reporting to management regarding performance and service levels of network systems, to inform responsible management about major deviations and/or corrective actions.
Requirements:
- 6+ years’ experience troubleshooting and supporting PC, hardware, desktop at an enterprise level
- Experience working with a formal ticketing system
- Extensive knowledge in working within ITSM systems and processes
- Experience and working knowledge within MS Windows 7 and above
- Understanding of network connectivity/cabling and networking, and Active Directory
- Strong knowledge of the O365 suite
- Strong communication and customer service mentality
