Role and Responsibilities:
- Delivers assigned product projects to meet target launch dates through appropriate processes.
- For large projects, serves as concept subject matter expert and delivers the positioning, sales & broker training content, and product transition or migration strategy as applicable.
- Serves as overall E2E product implementation lead.
- Works with highly complex projects.
- Regularly sought after to interact directly with providers, members, and brokers as a subject matter expert.
- Leads concept development of new product initiatives, exploring options and implications of various approaches.
- Frames choices for decision-makers to gain clarity and consensus on the optimal approach to meet business goals.
- Works with highly complex concepts (e.g., complex changes to existing products, or entirely new offerings).
- Maintains knowledge of current business processes, policies, and procedures and evaluates impacts to these by changes in Federal or State regulations mandates, including responding to inquiries regarding business processes impacted by technological changes, business innovation, and market changes, as well as pending legislation, statutes, and regulations.
- Builds strong collaborative relationships both internally and with external partners to drive success and address challenges where presented.
- Possesses the ability for a matrix role in marketing, sales and operations to ensure business strategies are fully realized and the potential of product strategy is maximized.
- Facilitates implementation of effective policies, processes, and internal controls to comply with new or changing requirements.
- Performs assignments independently with minimal direction.
- Provides research and analysis to align business strategies, capabilities, and processes with applications, data, technology, and external mandates, including but not limited to product partner/vendor evaluation, performance metrics of partners, competitor portfolio, and financial impact and budget management.
- Possesses quality assurance for member materials, advertising, and other communications to ensure integrity and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, healthcare administration, or other relevant academic discipline OR a High School diploma and 4 years of relevant experience
- 7 years of experience in ACA, Small Group, and Individual market and/or Medicare Advantage Development of talent/training in State and Federal regulatory requirements
Nice-to-Haves:
- Master’s Degree in a related field
