We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee and manage our organization’s technology operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop and customer support, and project management. This individual will start as a department of one, building our templates and processes for the future of our IT department, as well as supporting end users. Our expectation is that this person will provide daily support and eventually grow their department and hire additional resources to support our growing presence here in Kansas.

Responsibilities:

– Manage and oversee all technology operations, including network security, hardware and software management, and data backup and recovery.

– Provide excellent customer support to all users, ensuring that all technical issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

– Manage and implement technology projects from start to finish, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

– Manage and support desktop hardware and software, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.

– Ensure that all systems and data are secure and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.

-Work closely with various hardware and software vendors to properly manage licenses and negotiate contracts to secure competitive pricing.

-Maintain a high standard for organization, documentation and communication.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

– 5+ years of experience in IT management or a related field.

– Strong technical skills (primarily a Microsoft Windows environment), proven project management, and desktop support.

– Excellent customer support skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

– Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to find solutions.

– Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
