We are seeking an Entry Level Technology Support Specialist to join our Managed Services team supporting the day-to-day IT operations of our clients and internal team. If selected you will be collaborating with a small team of service delivery specialists to support software, hardware, and networks commonly found in small businesses. Ultimately your objective will be to provide technical, product, and business knowledge to strengthen our client relationships by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring and installing systems, and providing excellent customer service. You need to be a tech-savvy professional who can effectively communicate with a non-technical audience. Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing first touch technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and servers
  • Installing and configuring computer systems and applications
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • Managing and tracking assigned support tickets using a professional services automation (PSA) system
  • Communicating effectively with clients to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Keeping up to date with new technologies and best practices and discussing technical trends and tools with the team

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in technical support or a related field
  • Strong understanding of computer systems and networks
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Customer-service oriented

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with professional services automation (PSA) systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office products
  • Experience with hardware and software installation and configuration
