Our Data & Analytics Solutions team is seeking a Data Architect who will be responsible for developing standards and technical designs for data used across our company. If selected, you will be instrumental in overseeing and helping set the direction for a new service-based Enterprise Data & Storage Architecture. You will collaborate across business and technical teams to develop and implement data model designs, data development standards, and operational/analytic data system management as part of bringing our overall organizational data strategy into alignment with business processes.

Role

  • Work with key stakeholders to drive our cloud data strategy and ensure data is in a format that provides valuable information and insights to our developers, business stakeholders, and end-users.
  • Drive data pipelines/flows with a focus on enabling accessibility within security boundaries.
  • Establish on-prem and cloud infrastructure data standards, reference architecture, and enterprise models.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance, Privacy, and InfoSec on security & audit strategies.
  • Partner with Enterprise and Solution Architects to ensure applications adhere to best practices and governance standards.
  • Collaborate on integration patterns with development teams for both batch and real-time data movement.
  • Reduce redundancy and enable accessibility within security boundaries to optimize overall data/information flow.
  • Review Contract/RFP to ensure partners are in line with data architecture strategies.

Qualifications

You will need an in-depth understanding of cloud-based data strategy and a proven record of accomplishment in making recommendations and implementing efforts to transform enterprise data systems to a service/cloud-based strategy.

Required

  • Recent project work focused on on-premises to cloud data migration & transformation efforts in a consulting role helping project teams understand, uncover, and disseminate data information to aid in project scoping, estimating project costs, and identifying high-level timelines.
  • Real-time and batch system integration experience including data extraction, transformation, and quality controls design techniques.
  • Enterprise-level data modeling and information classification expertise.
  • Understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models.
  • Understanding of TOGAF enterprise architecture standards.
  • Experience in an iterative/Agile delivery model focused on continuous integration & delivery and DevOps processes.

Preferred experience

  • Facets, HL7 FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) and payer-based models.
  • Azure data storage and integration capabilities.
  • Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, PEGA, or other CRM Platforms.

Relevant Credentials a plus:

  • Microsoft Azure Data Engineer/Azure Certified Solutions Architect
  • Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification
  • Undergraduate/Graduate Degree in Information Systems, Data Management, or similar.

Details

  • Annual base salary range is $126,495 – $177,105.*
  • Discretionary annual bonuses to 12% of base salary. 
  • Employer will contribute $25,000 – $35,000 to 401K over three years on top of other matched employee contributions.
  • Open to 100% remote – we are in the Kansas City Metro area if you prefer some office time.
